A Few Graphic Novels In the Bookshop

Habibi by Craig Thompson

Two books here, the biography of Georges Prosper Remi (briefly) starring Andy Warhol!
And Craig Thompson's (no relation to Thomson and Thompson) "Habibi" is a beautiful story about Dodola, an Arab girl, and Zam, a black slave whom she adopts as an infant; interlinking Arabic text to the art of storytelling.

"I have a sort of Christmas-morning sense of the library as a big box full of beautiful books." - Audrey Niffenegger

Asterix in the bookshop

“I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.” ― Groucho Marx
